Meghan Markle’s Wedding Dress Astronomical Cost
Oh what wonderful mid summer event we had this year, a British royal wedding, a very glamorous social event! It was very fantasy like in my opinion, if you’d ask me. But what been musing and haunting us (the ladies especially) is the cost of Meghan Markle luxury wedding dress–word has it costs much more than Kate’s.
The now Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle’s luxury wedding dress was designed Givenchy’s designer and creative director, Clare Waight Keller, which received quite the harsh critics from several members of fashion world. But today not going to talk about that, no, but we’re going to talk about how much did it cost to make that luxury wedding dress.
Now, if we take a look at Kim Kardashian Givenchy 2014 luxury wedding dress; that dress is cost about $500,000 (by God, i can buy a house or two cars with that amount). So those familiar with the matter land guesstimate that Meghan’s dress cost between $200,000 and $400,000. Fashion expert, Dawn Del Russo, gave his guessed to Money magazine; that it’s around $340,000, because it is a haute couture wedding dress.
That last amount is probably the closest to the so much coveted truth by Kensington Palace, which probably not going to be reveal anytime soon to us. That last figured is said to include her royal wedding day bling-bling, but is it? I mean, that triple diamond engagement ring alone can cost up to $350,000, then there’s the Cartier diamond button earring which cost $80,000 and the Cartier diamond cuff she wore around her waist during the big day cost about $155,000 (whew, that’s a lot money) and~~to finish it off the Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau tiara which $600,000. All of these, still not counting the $68,000 earring and vintage aquamarine ring she wore during the reception.
We can safely say that she topped every other royal brides off! The today queen, who was then Princess Elizabeth, married in 1947–a time where wartime rationing still going, thus her wedding dress was paid for with coupon. Three decades later, the late Princess Diana fairy-tale luxury wedding dress cost $13,000. We moved forward to recent years where other members scaled down the amount, by royal standard that is. Autumn Kelly’s dress cost was around $4,000 and Zara Phillips’s gown around $9000. But then, Kate Middleton went all out with her wedding dress with Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen creation, which embellished royally with pearls and lace which estimated to have cost $434,000.
But this doesn’t it have to cost you as much to get your dream and fairy-tale luxury wedding dress, there are a few bridal shops around that offer wedding dresses at a very tempting price.
